INVITED-TRIAL GUIDE · UPDATED 18 October 2026

How ordering rules and approval work

Describe rules, review their effect and apply approved supplier, quantity and approval choices consistently.

This guide describes the trial scope. Access and the workflow supported for your site are agreed before the trial starts.

Describe your ordering rules

Write the supplier choice, pack rounding, order day and approval requirement in plain English for SmartFACT to propose typed rules, or use the structured editor. Prices and value limits are your reviewed site policy, never an invented default.

Check and approve the rules

A different reviewer checks the proposed effect on the queue before activating a release. The active rules prepare drafts and select requirements exactly as approved; no AI model decides a live quantity or grants an approval.

Approve each order separately

A supervisor reviews the actual revision using a recent second factor. A rule can require two distinct supervisors or exclude the submitter. Rules never approve, submit or send orders. A change to an approved commitment requires approval again.

Practise with the real screens

Practise purchase requests, approval, sending and deliveries in the actual application, with isolated invented records.

Read the guides on any device. Interactive demonstrations run on a desktop or laptop, with the appropriate desktop or handheld view.
